Well done to Phil Mickleson on a stellar USPGA tournament, handing it to the young bucks on what was arguably the most difficult golf course they will play this year, at 4985yds it ranks second only to Winged Foot Golf Course, and "what's ranked #3 you may ask" you guessed it the host club of this years US Open Torrey Pines.
Not only did Mickleson win at Kiawah Island, he became the oldest person to win a major in any era, he could very well eclipse his own record next month at Torrey Pines!
To our own contest congratulations to our "nearly" oldest contestant "curly" on (448) points,moving up eight places after round one, Norfolk n Chance on (516) points took second placing from Painter (533) points in third.
"duckstail (560) points just edged "golfpunk" who finished on (556) points in fifth place.
